Olympus 2D Short Film Designs
These were done for a short film project for my 2D animation class in university; My main job within my group was to get the designs done for all the characters. Here you will find my first design pass, my final design pass with base color, a full turn-around of the main character, and some color tests for the main character. I have also included my animated shots from the short film as well as a link to the full short film, "Olympus". The design portion was raster based and was done in Procreate, and the animation was done in Toon Boom Studio.
Final Designs-Done in a simpler art style so the other animators could easily replicate it.
First Design Pass- I decided to make them be in different poses for this pass in order to better show their personalities.
Main Character Turn-Around-A full turn-around of the film's main character. It was done to be used as a reference for the other animators.
Main Character Color Scheme Options-Some color scheme tests I made in order to get the other animators' opinions on the final color palette
